If you have any questions about your insurance eligibility, please contact your insurance provider directly. Please note, if your insurance provider declines payment, you will be responsible for the entire session fee.
If your insurance provider offers reimbursement for out-of-network expenses, you may also be eligible for this reimbursement. I am considered an out-of-network provider for most insurance providers. Rather than going back and forth with insurance companies, I focus entirely on providing the absolute most effective therapy to the clients in my care. I provide billing statements for my clients that they submit to their insurance for reimbursement after each session, and this works really well for most people. Please contact your provider for more information regarding your coverage.
When contacting your provider regarding coverage, try asking the following questions to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
In addition, you may be eligible for reimbursement through your flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), or health reimbursement account (HRA). Please contact your FSA, HSA, or HRA administrator to see if you may be eligible for reimbursement.
I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment.
The time scheduled for your appointment is assigned to you and you alone. Please do your best to arrive on time for your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask that you provide me with at least 24 hours notice. Otherwise, you may be charged for 50% of the session rate.
Please be advised there may be times when I need to close. Where possible, I will contact you immediately by phone and/or the client portal to discuss rescheduling your appointment.
